Day 7 of NYC Aug.26,2010

Ok so it's are last day in NYC and we decided to go try to get onto the Today Show. Well we did and we got to see ourselves later when we came home because I had my sister Jeanette record it while we were gone. We totally got on like in 4 little parts. We were just part of the background of course but it was still fun. We did get to meet Natalie Morales and take a picture with her and also saw the new Miss Universe- from Mexico. She is way pretty and almost too skinny!! It was fun. We didn't have to wait in line and there weren't too many people. The girl standing next to me got picked for a make over. Fun!! Next we went to TOP of the ROCK (Rockefeller building) up to the 67,68, and 69th floors. That was so amazing the view we had and it was a beautiful clear sunny day. Wow!! It was great!! Then we went to Central Park and rode bikes for about an hour or so. It is so green and beautiful as well. Then we went to Canal Street and did some last minute shopping and ate pizza and calzones in Little Italy. It was a nice relaxing day. We then when home packed our bags and I took some last min. photos of the amazing view from our hotel room. We were on the 35th floor. The UN Millennium Plaza was what is was called. It was recommended by Rachael Ray. Speaking of her, that was the one thing that made me sad is that we stayed like a 3 min. walk from her studio and we didn't get to see her show. She wasn't taping the week we were there!! Bummer!!! Oh well I'll just have to go back anther time!! It will be in the fall or spring and I will see her show and do more shopping and eat more delicious food!! I love New York City!! My husband said it was the funnest trip he has been on! I will have to agree.
