Me and Bryan at Chipotle for FREE Dinner on Halloween! Normally you have to dress up like a Burrito but this year they said that it was ok we just had to be dressed up to get free dinner. This was our third year going to Chipotle for free dinner on Halloween! Next year we will miss out because it will be on Sunday!

Carving Pumpkins

I love carving pumpkins and this year we Almost didn't' do it. Well I called Carrie on Thurs. to see if on Friday she and her family would be interested in coming over to carve pumpkins. Well I worked all day Friday, then her parents watched the kids while us adults went to Pei Wei for some good dinner . We also decided that we would shop for the pumpkins without the kids so that it would be quicker. We got them at FRY's because Superstition Ranch Market was all OUT of them!!! WOW!! We didn't see that one coming. So Fry's it was and 5$ a pumpkin!!! Dang!! Well it was worth it. We had a fun time getting them all gutted and carved. Some of us used a template to follow and others didn't. They looked great! Check them out. It just doesn't feel like Halloween without carving pumpkins! AZ State Fair 2009

Ok so I have to tell you this funny story that happened to me today. I was on my facebook earlier this morning (for the maybe forth time ever. I'm still trying to figure out how it works and how to have anytime to look at it) And I notice someone saying that they were going to the Lady Antebellum Concert at the State Fair tonight. Well I love going to concerts at the state fair because they are chill and free if you don't care were you are sitting. So I totally forgot that the Fair was going on and to I went to check out in information. Well they had huge DEAL going the WE CARE WEDNESDAY. All you had to do is donate a bottle water or other ideas to get in for free. Well awesome! I didn't have to work because 2 weeks ago my sister Jeanette said her husband needed the Salon on Wed. the 21 for something special so I didn't have any appointments. And that is to day I usually work late. So I had the night off. YAY!! So I called Bryan to see if he would be interested in going. He told me that he would see if he could go off work but he didn't know. So I said well I'll see if I could get someone to come with me just in case he couldn't go. So I sent out a big email to some friends and family (if you got it you know what I'm talking about) And then he called me and that when he told me the plan. He said 2 weeks ago he found out about the concert and had planned to get off work early to surprise me at home and take me to the concert. He told Marc Jackson my brother-in -law and he was going to surprise his wife my sister Jeanette. Well I totally ruined the whole surprise but as he was talking to me I was so excited. Bryan is so cute!!! I just love him. He is so good with surprises. SO I had to go and re-email all those who I had invited and uninvited them because Bryan was taking me on a special Date! So sorry for those who got those crazy emails. Thanks for understanding. Ok so here are some pic's of the fun night.

Well I usually don't eat at the Fair because EVERYTHING is SO UNHEALTHY and I costs an arm and a leg But...... since we got in free and the concert was free and the rides were only 1$ each and we only went on 3 we splurged a little and got a polish corn dog on a stick, a Navajo taco, and funnel cake with strawberries and whip cream. The most I have ever had!! They were all sooooo yummy and I don't think I will need to eat for another day! It was such a fun DATE ! I love Bryan and We had fun just relaxing at the fair.

Whitney's extensions

I clipped ALL the extensions in and WOW they were long.

Too long actually. Whit didn't really want the extensions for the length factor as to the thickness factor. Thicker and a little longer is really what we were going for. So we cut off the rest we didn't want.

AFTER:

I cut about, oh I don't know, like 6 or more inches off. This is her new look. MORE HAIR!!! and slightly longer but not much. SOOOOO CUTE!!!

Chaney's Bangs!

This is Chaney and she is so beautiful no matter what she comes in my salon wanting to get done Today she showed me a picture of a girl with short straight bangs. So cute! I knew she would look great and she does of course. Even cuter that the girl on the cover of the magazine. Way to be brave Chaney. I wish I had enough guts to do it. Maybe someday.

Lachelle finally donated her hair!!

This is my biggest sister Lachelle. She is so AMAZING!! Well she has been growing her hair out to donate and today we finally cut it! She was really excited to get rid of it but just didn't want really short hair. Well that makes 3 out of the 4 sisters have donated our hair for a good cause this summer.

Ok Jeanette you are the last of us Sister's now it's your turn "no pressure"!! ha ha

5 Day Vacation!!!

Day 1-Sept-3-09

Ok so it's time for Vacation!!!! We needed a vacation from life and so we took one! 5 amazing days in Beautiful California. We woke up at 2am and were off by 3:15AM and drove to Newport/Irvine California dropped off our bags and went straight to Disneyland and California Adventure. It was so fun!! We did a lot of other fun stuff too. It was so relaxing and fun!! We were on our own timing and just did whatever we wanted to do. California Adventure!!! We started here because Bryan had never been here. And Nancy gave us 2 free park hopper tickets!!! WOW!! Thanks so much Nancy!! We didn't realized how much it costs to get into Disneyland 92$ per adult!!!!! WOW!!! So thanks again for hooking us up Nancy!! That helped big time on the cost of our trip.

Day 3- Sept-5-09

Ok today we laced up our tennis shoes and headed to the LA Fashion District!!

We spend from 12-5 shopping!! I know Bryan went with me and didn't complain! He actually liked it!! He doesn't go shopping a whole lot so it was fun for him plus he got some smokin' deals on a nice belt, tie, shirts and socks. After we went to dinner with a friend of ours Jeff at an Argentine resturant. Bryan and Jeff both went to the same mission in Argentina so they were in heaven. I love the food too so it was fun for me too!!! It was a great day full of walking, shopping and getting deals!!!

You always have to get a hot dog here because they smell soooooooo good, they are wrapped in bacon and topped with the works {cooked onions& peppers, avacado and pico.}

Day 4- Sept-6-09

We went to church at 9am at the church building across the street from the temple since it was 3 mins. from our hotel. It was fun!! Bry saw some guy he sits really close to a work on vaction with his family and I sat next to a new girl in the ward. She had just got married a month ago and baptized 2 years ago from California and she knows Stacia Ray (Rogers) who was one of my young women when I was Laurel Advisor after my mission!!! Small world!!

We caught on some much needed sleep and took a good long nap then we went to my cousin Amber and Shannon Stewart's house in Compton. They just moved there 3 months ago and into a really nice 4 bedroom house in a new gated community. We at some delicious BBQ ribs, brisket, baked beans and potato salad. It was really good!!! And not just because we had been fasting. They actually bought it at some BBQ place that is always packed. It was really nice to see them. I just love Amber she is so full of life and so bubbly and happy. Her husband, Shannon is so nice and funny too!! We had a great time!! After dinner I taught Amber how to start a Blog and got her own. Then we went to Newport Beach {in the dark} and to a nice relaxing walk on the sand. It was so nice!!!

The view from our hotel!! Not the greatest because it was across the street from the John Wayne airport in Cali but we got a smokin' deal!! Yes it is true!! There is a street named after my man!!!!

And they spelled it RIGHT!!! So cool!!

Eating Pumkin Pancakes at "Pancakes R Us" Never heard of it before either but it came up as the closest IHOP on the GPS. It was good and cheaper that IHOP.

I Did It!!!

Hello everyone!! It's me Hair by Nat down at the Chatty Shack! Well I just wanted you to all know that I finally cut my hair after growing it long for the last couple of years. I have been planning this day for a long time and it has changed many times the Actual Day that I would cut my hair well it finally came yesterday August 11,2009. My big sis and amazing hair stylist Jeanette Jackson had the honors of chopped off 10 inches of my long hair so that I could donate it to children who have no hair. Well check out the process below!! It's really fun to finally have short hair. I love it!!!

WHy I Love Utah in the Summer

We just got back from Utah and we had a great time. We left Wed. July 22, 2009 and we did so much while we were there. We started by going to SLC temple square and the Lion House for lunch and then to the top of the church office building and then to the Orquir Mountain Temple Open House. We quickly went to Marissa Dorny Farnsworth's wedding reception too. It was a full day but wonderful.

My Beautiful 2nd cousin Marissa Dorny got married in the Provo, UT temple on Thurs. July 23, 2009. Bryan and I luckily were in UT that day so we went to her Reception. It was up the Provo Canyon ,outside and it was so beautiful! Congrats Mrs. Farnsworth!!

Aubs new long hair

This is Aubs Evans and she is now HOME from her mission in Portugal. I have been cutting her hair for 10 years now and she has always had it short and sassy. Well most, not all, sister missionaries grow their hair out on the mission because it is just easy to do. She was one of them, as was I. Well she decided she wanted to try long hair for a change so we just cut the really dead ends off and kept as much length as possible. We did it straight and curly so she could see the different things she could do !! So fun!!!

Helping Hands

If any of you know this cute girl with me her name is Rachelle Scott!!! So is such an amazing person! She went with me to the Bishop's Storehouse to give some good, well needed service. It was a lot of fun. If you ever need a good experience you should go down and give a helping hand. It's all based on Volunteer work and they appreciate all the help they can get. I always feel so good when I help others so if you are feeling down and need a pick-me-up give some selfless service and you will feel fantastic afterwards Promise!!!

1st Summer Lake Trip 2009

Lake Trip July 18,2009- We went to Saguaro Lake. It was totally fun and we didn't get to sunburned!! Bryan and Natalie

We went wake boarding! I go once a summer usually "IF" someone we know that has a boat invites us because we don't quite owe that fun of a toy yet! Thanks Evan and Tara Short for the invite. So needless to say I'm not good and the board was way too loose for my feet! But it was still fun trying! I am not a graceful wake boarder as you will see in the pics below.

Happy 28th Birthday Michelle!!

Happy Birthday to Michelle!!! So this year I decided that it was time to hang out with Michelle on her real birthday July 8, instead of celebrating it when she got home or worse not celebrating it at all. So I planned with the rest of the girls to drive up Wed.(July 8) morning to Strawberry, AZ where Michelle spends all of her birthdays since I have known her, and spend the whole day with her and drive back that night. Well we did it! It was Carrie,her 3 kids, Natalie, Bobbi and her Baby, Steph and her Baby, and Becky. Sorry girls who couldn't make it we missed you! It was so much fun!!! We ate lunch BLT's with Avocado yum, did pedicures, played games, ate Mexican food for dinner, had a fun ice cream cake party with more of her family that was up there, planned dance add-on (oh man- can her mom Chris dance- that must be where Michelle gets it) and of course we are keeping the music videos alive so we did one of those with the help of My bag and Michelle's bag of dress up clothes. It was a TON of fun talking, laughing, dancing, and just enjoying each other and the 80 degree weather!! Well it's safe to say MICHELLE WE LOVE YOU GIRL!! hope you enjoyed your traveling birthday surprise party because we did!

So for my birthday my awesome mom-in-law gave me two gift certificates for pedicures so i held on to them till May and Jeanette my sis and I went to "Lover Nails" on Stapley and Baseline and got pampered! It was so fun!! We both got the argyle print because we have never gotten it before and wanted to try something new!! Well here it is! So cute! 5-28-09

Hermana Reunion May 1 and May 2,2009

May 1 and May 2, 2009-----First annual Valencia Venezuela Hermana Reunion!!! It was a hit!! I tried with help from many (thank you) so find and get a hold of all the Hermanas that served in our mission to have a little reunion. Well 8 came and it was a lot of fun!! We decided that we want to do it again next year. Probably the same time or the first on June. So let me know if any of your Vennie Hermanas would like to come. Here are some Pictures of the events. We went to an AMAZING Cabin (THANKS to MaRea's Parents) up in Eden,UT .The weather was beautiful a little rain but some sun too. We hung out and did a ton of talking of course to catch up on each others lives. It had been some 5-6 years since we have seen each other. We did some Rock Band!! We made some dinner (we forgot some salad dressing so I tried to make a want to be ranch or something with some random spices, and mayo and milk. Thanks for those who tried it you didn't have to.) we polished our nails (I don't have pictures of that though, cuz I was the one polishing them. MaRea or Katrena if you got any pics of that send them my way.) and we played some fun games like Quelf!!!!( if you have never played find someone who has it or just buy it it's totally worth it) It was just a ton of fun!!! Tashi needed a new look so we chopped off her hair and she looks great!!! Thanks for all coming who did and hope those who didn't come next year.

This Cabin was more like a DREAM HOUSE!!! There were 6 Beds, an upstairs and a downstairs and it was all decked out in Beauty!!!

This is the Biggest Fanciest Bed!! It was is the Master bedroom upstairs. Tashi and her two girls slept on this one!!! So Pretty!! This is the bed I slept on downstairs. It was the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept on!!! Plus it's so beautiful. I took a picture so I could remember and also so I could make it look the same the next morning.

New Calling

It's time for CHANGE!!! So as many of you know I have been a ward missionary for many years now and I LOVED IT!!! I really did!! But it's that time of life when things have to change. So I have excepted the calling as 2nd Counselor in the RELIEF SOCIETY in the Desert Vista Ward. ENRICHMENT Here I COME!!! I am way excited to work with Tamara Pew our President and Shanda Stevens our 1st counselor.

Sleepover at the Brooksby's

Bryan and I decided that we haven't lived life to is fullest unless we had a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Brooksby's house. So Friday March 27, 2009 we went over after work and made dinner, one of our favorites, Taco Soup. It was really good and the grandparents loved it. We showed them some of our pictures of our trip to Argentina, talked, laughed and even played some games. We taught them how to play the card game "Golf" and Grandma smoked us all. She totally beat us good. Then the played Rummy. That was a lot of fun too. Bryan won a round and I won a round. We went to bed at about 10:45 and slept good. They have a really nice guest room and bed. Then in the morning we made homemade "Biscuits and Gravy" and had some fresh orange juice from their trees. It was so delish. We talked some more and they told us some great stories of their lives. They are some really amazing people and we are so glad that we have them so close to talk to and to love. We had a great time and we will probably do that again. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for your wonderful hospitality and love. We Love you!!!! Bryan, Natalie, Grandma, and Grandpa Brooksby

So I had a goal beginning 2008 that I would read a book {besides church books etc..}

So the Twilight series was out and as big as ever. The first three books were out and I was pretty much the only person who hadn't read a single one. So thanks to setting my goal, and all my cool friends and clients encouraging me to read Twilight I did. Thanks to Carrie(and her mom I think too) I borrowed the first book and began to read. NOW.......You have to remember that I am NOT a reader!! I never have been. Well this all began the change. I surprised myself and read the first book in 3 DAYS!!!!!!! WOW!!!! It was s great book and very interesting and fun to read. That was a first for me. So I borrowed the 2nd book and read it in a week. Also a good book. Well I was on a roll and didn't want to stop. So I borrowed the 3rd book and I think it took me a few weeks just because I had to get other things done in my life besides reading. So then this summer when the 4th and Final book came out I actually went down to Borders with Carly and Carrie and some other girls and waited in line while they got their books. I know it's kind of silly because I didn't buy one but I went anyway because I wanted to see what it is like to be surrounded by book readers and obsessive twilight fans. It was pretty fun but I don't think I will do it again. When Carrie was done with her book I borrowed it and started to read it took me a while to get through it. Well then our Argentina Trip came up and I decided to breakdown and buy the last book and read it while on our 12hour plane ride to and from Argentina. Surprising enough I didn't get all the way through it. (probably because I wanted to try to get some sleep) Well when I got home the movie came out sooner that expected in Nov. instead of Dec. So these are some pictures of the group us waiting in line at Harkins to see the movie. It was really good I liked it. I would give it an A- because some of the Characters didn't look how I pictured them. But for a lower budget movie they did a good job.

Happy Halloween!!! 10-31-08

This is the first year that I have dressed up for WORK on Halloween!!!

I usually take Halloween off completely but this year I didn't and I dressed up. As a SASSY CAT!! It was a lot of fun because for those who really know me I love to dress up.

So 2 Years ago I found out that CHIPOTLE gives out free food on Halloween from 5-10 if..............you dress up like a burrito. Which basically means all you have to do is have some sort of tin foil somewhere on your body. So this is our second year getting free dinner on Halloween!! Pretty sweet!! And the amazing thing is we never have to wait in line. That still boggles my mind free food and no line WOW!!!!!

My first cute Background!

OH SO CUTE!!! Thanks to my sister-in-law Hillary I have a cute blog!!! She told me where to go and how to do it. It took me a little while but I actually had time to figure it out. Thanks Hillary!! I'm still learning little by little. My goal it to make this Blog way cute, totally updated and then at the end of the year I will print it out into a book!!! Yeah!!! Wish me luck!!!

We are HOME!!! We got back Saturday morning and all went well. We didn't have any problems and we didn't get sick either. We thank the Lord for those blessings. Bryan and I had a BLAST!!! It was such an exciting, faith building, testimony growing, well needed trip of a life time. We thank everyone who prayed for our safety and for those who donated to the great people of Argentina. They were so excited to recieve all the clothes, shoes, food, pictures, help, and love. They loved it all!!! We felt the Love that God has for them, so strong, as we shared with them these wonderful blessings. We took a million pictures of course (actually 1207 pictures to be exact)and we will only be putting a few on here for you to see. If you want to see the rest you will have to call us and come hang out with us and we would love to share them with you. We even have a few video tapes as well. Well thank you all again for all your love, suopport, donations and prayers we felt so blessed to of had this AMAZING experience and we will remember it for ever.

ARGENTINA

We made it. We got here fine and everything is fine. Time is flying by like we cant imagine. We have had so much fun. Up to now everything is going well, we are working hard to make sure that eveyone we know gets the help they need and as we help others we have found that it has made our trip 100 times better. LOTS AND LOTS OF FUN. See you all soon.

We had a fun time last night at our girls night. These are the ladies that came. It was Whitney's first time. Thanks for coming girl and your snickerdoodles were delish. Thanks for all coming it was a lot of fun talking, laughing, eating yummy treats and polishing our toes. We did a little recipe exchange so thanks for bringing yummy treats and the recipes for them. 4 of the 7 of us are prego in this group.Carrie due in 3weeks !!! Bobbi and Stephanie due in Jan. and Carly due in March. So fun!!!! We are so excited for you girls to be having babies. We were sad for those who couldn't make it. We miss you girls. We understand life is busy. I just found today that Becky's kitchen caught Fire!!! Scary!! So sorry to hear that Becks!! We love you and let us know what we can do to help. We are glad you and your family are ok. I just love you girls!!! For the record the end of the Party was 12:20am. I love getting together with my friends you are all amazing and I thank you for staying in touch through all the years.

ARGENTINA or BUST

Ok so I know it's been a really long time since I updated this Blog. So sorry!!! We are really busy right now because we are making dreams happen at the Hatch Home!!! Many of you know that we are finally going to ARGENTINA!!!! Bryan served in the Bahia Blanca, Argentina mission. So it's been 4 years since he has been home. Well we are so excited to be going back Pre-Kids so that we can enjoy it as much as possible. No worries we aren't Anti-Kids just Pro-Planning. We will let you know when it's baby time. We are getting closer to that phase of our Life so don't worry. We are letting you all in on a great opportunity to GIVE (if you want we aren't demanding it or making you have to) We are collecting Money Donations so we can help bless the wonderful , humble people of Argentina. The Man!!!!

So It's Monday Aug. 18, 2008 and Bryan and I are just walking around Salt Lake City's Gateway Mall. It was about 1pm and we are coming down this sidewalk. All the sudden I see this man with 2 ladies and a stroller. In my head I'm thinking,"WOW that guy really looks like Jack Johnson". Well to my surprise my husband says out loud "Jack Johnson" and then I knew I wasn't just seeing things. It was really was him. He and his wife ,pushing a stroller, and a Hawaiian Lady(maybe a friend or relative or nanny I'm sure who she was) were headed to the corner we were headed to. WOW!!!!!!!!! No one was rushing him. It almost seemed like no one knew that it was Jack Johnson just walking around. So they stop and Bryan begins to explain that he and his brother in law (Micah-who couldn't make it) were his biggest fans. And that we were going to going to his concert tonight. He was really chill and nice and said "that's cool" Then Bryan says "Could we get a quick picture with you, we don't want to take too much of your time" He agreed and we got a sweet picture with Bryan's Favorite Musician. It's like a dream come true. So we got a picture and then let him on his way. This is one really good reason to always have your camera in your purse. It never hurts. So after that of course Bryan had to call everyone to tell them what just happened. Micah got the first call and so on. We were so happy to have got such a rad opportunity.

Ok so Bryan has a rad sister Whitney and rad brother-in-law Micah who gifted him and I tickets to the Jack Johnson concert on Aug.18,2008 up in SLC ,UT. THANK YOU !!! You guys are so Awesome!! So we drove up there and had a blast. We had some rad seats and here are some pictures . Man the concert was rad. Jack Johnson is one talented dude. His band was awesome too. The piano man was way cool.

Well while my car is getting fixed I get to drive a Saturn. It's a pretty nice car. It's working for now but i can't wait to get my car back from the shop. I love Hondas!!

She was out of town this year on her birthday and I wasn't able to see her but she did get to spend her special day at a family reunion with a ton of people who love her very much as well. Sunday we celebrated her birthday will family and lots of cake. Yum!!

It has a lot of candles because.....well .....mom has a lot of years and she has loved every minute of them too....I bet. She is a wonderful mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend to many. HaPPy BiRTHday MiChelle!!!!! So I know that I'm a little late but I still want you to know that I thought of you on your birthday. This girl Michelle is so fun!!! This picture is special because Mich is wearing a full face of Make up. We did a little facial/make up party at my house and Michelle and Carrie showed up. It was great fun watching this beauty put make up on. See Michelle is so lucky because she doesn't need make up to cover anything scary on her face (like I do). Quillos

Our stake is making Quillos : quilts that fold into a pillows for a summer service project to give to the kindergartners that will be starting at Madison Elementary. So me and this sweet lady right here have been sewing like crazy. This is Lampai from Thailand. I'm one of her visiting teachers. She is so cute and fun. It's been fun getting to know her and practicing my sewing skills. WOW!! I can barely sew straight lines but it's been fun and I have made 5 now. yeah!! Thank goodness for my mom's amazing sewing machine. We whipped these quillos out. thanks again mom.

BAD DAY

This happened on Monday July 7 ,2008. I was stopped on the off ramp at Greenfield ready to turn right and the man behind me just wasn't paying attention and rear ended me. Dang!! This is my first car accident. NO FUN. I have to count my blessing though because I am ok and so was the other driver. Our cars aren't though. Thank goodness for insurance. He had it and so do I. My car was still drivable but his wasn't. Just a reminder out there. PAY ATTENTION while driving. It's no fun getting in an accident. When it rains it pours!!!! I am alive and kicking still.

So it's summer time and MOST people go lighter but this year it's different. These girls decided that they wanted to change things up a bit. So I have been making blonds to brunettes. It's crazy but it's fun. They are looking HOT!!!

Ok so a friend of mine had a long blonde wig and wanted me to cut it to a cute short bob with short bangs. She loved it!! I think it's so sassy. Of course I had to try it on just to see what I would look like with a short blonde bob. Well...... let's just say....... there is a reason I wasn't born blonde. So for all those cute and sassy blonde friends of mine. Work it!!! Work that Blonde cuz not all of us can. This will "wig" you out. ha ha ha (my jokes are still cheesy)

WOW!!!! I did it!!! I have been wanting to blog and the day has finally come!!! I want to thank everyone who has encouraged me to do this and even said they would help me. Today a had a little free time so I tried making a blog and it worked. First time too!!! That is amazing cuz I am real slow when it comes to computers.
