Desert Vista Ward Camp Out

9-11-09 and 9-12-09

Ok so on the way to the ward camp out we drove up by the Salt River and Saguaro Lake and IF we would of stopped then these first 2 pictures would have been really good but I thought they turn out pretty good for being taken from the inside of a moving car. ARIZONA is BEAUTIFUL!! It's just a different kind of beauty!!

I brought all the hats to hid our "crazy camping hair"

We Played some games on Saturday! Tug-a-War was one of them.

These are the little boys getting DRAGGED by the little girls and we didn't even help them!

Now we started to help!

Now the Big boys- MEN against MEN

I was the end and got dragged the first round and the second round we won!!

ANOTHER game was 3-legged race! These are the kids "trying" to do it! I have decided it's not really a kid friendly game. Especially on a gravel road!

Well Last Year we were the #1 champs but we biffed it BIG time so I was a little wary about running so fast this year! WE won our first race by a land slide!! ( Probably because everyone else's ties broke) But..........

then we ran against the Stevens and they beat us!!! Good Job guys!!
Towards the end we just slowed totally down so we wouldn't have a massive fall like last year!!

We had great Cheer leaders- the Crandalls

Then the last game!!! Bubble Gum Blowing contest!

So I started out with 1 piece but then needed 2!!

It's fun to get them big until.............

the winner was JANA!!! SHE was sooooo Good!

But of course the Bigger the bubble the BIGGER the MESS on your Face!!!

The Hatch's at the 2nd Desert Vista Ward Camp out!!

It was so fun!! We didn't go to bed till 1 or 2 am and at that we aren't sure if we ever really went to sleep we were so cold! We totally packed everything but forgot our Jackets!!! Oh well it was still loads of Fun!!!
